MENCK is proud to announce the latest addition to its line of MHU hammers - the MHU 150S, the smallest MHU hammer built to date.
Upon its completion in late August, the MHU 150S has been sent to its first job, a port construction site, where it is working alongside the very successful MHU 300S hammer. Being satisfied with the performance of the larger MHU hammer over the past months, our customer decided to add the new MENCK MHU 150S hammer to the next phase of the project despite having an alternative Non-MENCK hydraulic hammer available.
Like all other MHU hammers, the MHU 150S works above and under water. Some of the possible offshore applications include the installation of conventional conductors as well as installations in ultradeepwater. As its first job shows, there are also plenty of onshore applications for the MHU 150S such as in port and bridge construction.
The design of the MHU 150S is based on the proven MHU hammer design and this high-quality hammer excels in its durability and allows for sustainable development. Due to the modular design of MENCK's MHU hammers, the MHU 150S can be equipped with a multitude of existing anvil and pile sleeve combinations to drive piles of any diameters.
Delivering 150kJ above water and 135kJ in 1000m water depth, the MHU 150S weighs 19 tons and measures 7.2 m from shackle to foot. |
