Accumulator Upgrade for First Generation Hydraulic Hammers
MENCK's extensive efforts to allow first generation hydraulic hammers to profit from contemporary technology used in the current MHU-T and MHU-S hammers have resulted in one of the most effective upgrades ever developed.
MENCK's technology team of engineering specialists has made it possible to exchange bladder accumulators for piston accumulators. Disadvantages relating to the bladder have been eliminated with the development of new special piston types. Based on this development it is possible to extend the lifetime of first generation hydraulic hammers built more than 20 years ago and prepare them for the decades to come.
MENCK has already successfully upgraded hydraulic hammers with driving energy levels ranging from 195 kJ to 2100 kJ. Hammer downtime due to regular maintenance of the bladder is now history. The upgrade further minimizes the cost of maintenance.
