MENCK is pleased to announce that its MHU 270T hammer system has been selected by McConnell Dowell Constructor for the second consecutive year for pile driving in tough soil conditions at Dampier’s massive port expansion project in Western Australia.

The extension of the iron ore loading facility in Dampier will require pile driving of up to 74 piles with an outer diameter of 1.2m at various inclinations.

The MHU 270T will be powered by MENCK’s own MHP 800 hydraulic powerpack and operated via MENCK’s new MHC 21 monitoring system.

MENCK is looking forward to this exciting port project Down Under.
