Our Engineering division is currently looking to secure the services of a:

Development/Computational Engineer (m/f)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and actively support interdisciplinary projects focusing on innovation within the field of offshore equipment, components and parts
• Design, calculate and simulate hydraulic systems
• Perform steady-state and transient structural calculations, including assessments of service life
• Refine and optimise computational methods, analysis procedures and development processes
  

Profile:

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on Applied Mechanics/Mechatronics, complemented by several years of work experience
• Well-developed problem-solving abilities, complemented by a proven track record of assessing complex systems with simple methods
• In-depth understanding of at least two of the following areas: hydraulics, dynamic simulation, complex component design (bolts as well as suspension, dampening and sealing systems)
• Process-oriented approach together with cost awareness
• Enthusiasm for activities relating to technical computation and simulation
• Customer-focused approach
• Good command of German, both written and spoken
