Our Customer Service Centre is looking to appoint a high-calibre individual responsible for global service assignments as well as machine operation and maintenance work at the company's facility in Kaltenkirchen, Germany:  

Service Technician (m/f)

Responsibilities:

• Carry out global on- and offshore service assignments with regard to the operation, maintenance and repair of machinery
• Perform assembly/installation tasks at the company's facility in Kaltenkirchen
• Train international customers in the use of our machines, both at the company facility and at sites around the globe

Profile:

• Solid vocational qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
• Proven track record in installation/assembly and repair of specialty machines
• Work experience at an international level, together with flexibility and willingness to travel extensively
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Computer literacy with regard to MS Office applications
• Reliability, conscientiousness and end-to-end commitment
• Well-developed communication skills and ability to work independently

Prospects:

As a MENCK Service Technician, you will work either as part of a dedicated team or alone, the focus being on service projects to be completed on offshore platforms, assembly vessels and yards operated by our customers. You will be responsible for operating, servicing and repairing MENCK machinery at sites around the globe, as well as assembling system components at our engineering facility in Kaltenkirchen. This role will involve maintaining close customer relations on a day-to-day basis.
