MENCK’s unique deepwater piling equipment was originally developed in the late 1980s for 1000 m (3,300 ft) water depth. Since then we have constantly increased its capabilities being ready today for 2,500 m (8,500 ft) and will soon have equipment ready for beyond 3,000 m (10,000 ft).

MENCK’s deepwater piling system combines MHU hammer technology with the unique MUP MENCK Underwater girdle Power pack wrapped around the hammer.

The deepwater piling system provides:

• a compact submersible hammer - power pack combination
• a single electrical umbilical available to date in lengths of  up to
  2,400 m (7,800 ft) with extensions to 2,500 m (8,500 ft), no need to run hydraulic hoses
• a highly efficient and environmentally friendly system
