Fundamentals

• Work safety, health protection and environmental protection mean the following to us: accident prevention and health promotion as ethical and social commitments, practising accountability, and serving as economic necessity for primary business objectives.
• The purposes of our active engagement with the theme are health and well-being as an essential basis for effective personal performance, the identification of potential improvements , and the security of our long term existence.
• Our employees, our business partners and interested parties are all addressed under this HSE-Policy with regard to their respective tasks and responsibilities.
• Each individual is responsible for work safety, health protection, and environmental protection, because each individual has the duty to point out recognized risks and take action, if this seems to be necessary and has the duty to eliminate existing hazardous situations.  The managers within the company take complete responsibility; they understand this ethos to be a primary executive function.  The employees’ council is involved in the planning and implementation of the HSE Policy.
• The minimum obligation for us is to adhere to all German laws and regulations concerning work safety, health protection, and environmental protection.  We strive to comply with such laws and regulations in all countries in which we are active.  Our goal is to work together constructively with public authorities, institutions, and qualified partners.
