Offshore Wind Farms

  • Monopiles, Tripods, Jackets
  • 500 kJ – 1900 kJ hammers
  • Over 200 turbine foundations installed
  • Trusted partner in foundation analysis

MENCK stepped early into this fledgling industry as individual countries have begun to realize the Kyoto protocol goals. Since the first migration of wind turbines into water, MENCK has specialized in large diameter pile driving for monopiles introducing many new adaptations to handle the ever increasing size.

MHU 800s with 5.2m Pile adapter

With the largest hammer available in a rental fleet, the MHU 1900S, MENCK has installed over 200 turbine foundations including many high profile projects such as Lynn & Inner Dowsing in England and Q7-Princess Amalia Farm in the Netherlands.

MHU 1900s with 4.7m follower adapter

Our engineering department designed patented follower system which maximizes energy transfer while increasing the pile diameter that a hammer can drive. To date we can drive piles up to 5.2m OD and are working on breaking the 6m size barrier.
